Trump-aligned PAC network reports more than $244 million in midterm spending
MAGA Inc. and two affiliated PACs have reported more than $244 million in independent spending to boost Republicans since early September. The network entered the fall with more than $415 million in cash, while President Donald Trump has pledged to put over $400 million toward the midterms.
President Donald Trump’s political spending operation has poured more than $244 million into independent efforts backing Republican candidates since early September, according to federal campaign finance filings released Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The spending was reported by MAGA Inc. and two affiliated political action committees, Safety & Affordability PAC and No Going Back PAC. The groups have run advertising in races across the country, with more than $200 million in September spending carried out primarily through the affiliates.
MAGA Inc. began September with more than $415 million in cash and raised about $25 million more through mid-October, the filings show. It transferred $25 million to Safety & Affordability PAC and $200 million to No Going Back PAC.
The spending surge follows Trump’s pledge last month that MAGA Inc. would put “probably $400, $500 million” into the midterms. In a Truth Social post Tuesday, he said he had spent, or would spend, “over 400 Million Dollars by Election Day.”
The filings show the scale of outside spending available to help Republicans in the midterms, though independent expenditures are not direct contributions to candidates. MAGA Inc.’s large cash reserve also leaves the network with substantial resources for the remaining campaign period.
